Before you start

Troubleshooting

The camera says “permission denied” or never turns on

Tap the lock or settings icon beside the web address, choose Permissions → Camera → Allow, then reload the page.

“Could not start video source”

Another app or browser tab is using the camera. Close video calls, camera apps and other tabs that used the camera, then reload. If it persists, restart your browser.

The camera works but the 3D model doesn’t appear

Keep the whole marker, including its thick black border, inside the frame. Hold it flat, about 20–40 cm away, in even light with no glare. A large model can take a few seconds to download first.

The model flickers or jumps around

The marker is partly hidden, creased, or reflecting light. Print it on plain (not glossy) paper and keep it flat on a table.

I don’t have a printer

Open the marker page on a second screen (laptop or tablet), turn the brightness up, and point your phone at it. You can also have it printed at a nearby business centre or print shop.

The model is too big or too small

Move your phone a little closer or further away, or pinch to zoom. Double-tap the model (or press Reset) to return to the default size.

Rotate and zoom don’t respond

Touch the model itself with one finger to rotate it, or two fingers to zoom. If the page scrolls instead, reload the AR view. Rotating works only while the marker is in view.
